As a therapist I believe that everyone has an innate wisdom living in their body, and my goal is to help you reach yours and reconnect with yourself and the world around you. As a certified integrative mental health professional I view individuals holistically, meaning that I see how all facets of life impact our wellness: what we eat, how we sleep, our support system, our connection with nature, our work, our spirit. I balance western psychological theory (such as IFS, Brainspotting, and attachment work) with eastern spirituality (such as mindfulness and somatics) to help you explore your mind body connection, identify where you might be stuck, and improve your capacity for human connection and contentment. A valuable part of my work also includes working with people and families of those affected by severe mental illnesses, helping them to achieve stability and live fulfilling lives.

As a therapist I believe some of our greatest challenges can reveal themselves to be opportunities for growth and change. As a Level 3 IFS therapist, I believe our minds are inherently multiple. Just like members of a family, inner parts are forced from their valuable states into extreme roles within us. Using this modality, you will begin to understand your system and begin to heal the parts of you that may have taken on extreme roles or have been burdened by your past. IFS is a transformative, evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people heal by accessing and loving their protective and wounded inner parts. In addition, I am trained in IFIO, the IFS method of working with couples. I also utilize EMDR as a tool to understand and rework distressing thoughts, emotions and behaviors in order to facilitate healing.

Training & Education

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, California

  • Masters in Social Work degree from Cal State East Bay

  • Certified IFS Institute Level III Therapist

  • Certified IFIO couples therapist

  • Certified in EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
