Alex Dvorak

AMFT #141535, CMC - supervised by Full Circle

As an associate therapist I believe that the stressors we face create an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and our values. Therapy shows us how to sit with discomfort, which creates a moment to connect with our core self before making decisions, big or small, about the life we want to live. I have an integrative approach that relies on collaboratively identifying coping skills that are unique to you and allow you to self-regulate and live proactively, rather than reactively. I am foremost a Person-Centered therapist, and utilize additional lenses when working with clients including Expressive Arts and Narrative Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. I have an extensive background working with older adults, caregivers (of all kinds) and the ‘sandwich generation’ – those who are acting as both parents to their children and a caregiver to their parents.

I offer telehealth and in-person services to adults and teens.
