As an associate therapist I believe that every individual possesses innate strengths capable of navigating life’s complexities. One of my most formative memories is witnessing my parents vote for the first time when I was six; that moment of empowerment continues to fuel my dedication to mental health advocacy and client agency today. In my culture, mental health was often viewed through the lens of stigma and I feel immense gratitude to be part of the movement changing that narrative. I am a lover of color and vibrancy—an authentic part of me that I mindfully bring into my therapeutic space to foster warmth, creativity, and a sense of belonging. I believe we are not defined by the problems we face but instead are authors of our own stories, and I am passionate about helping people connect with a deeper sense of hope and purpose in their lives. Issues I commonly work with include anxiety, life transitions, attachment issues and grief, with a particular interest in working with adolescents and teens.
